Supervised visitation across Arvada

Arvada stretches from the Denver border at Sheridan Boulevard all the way west to the foothills at Highway 93 — nearly fifteen miles of neighborhoods, most of them in Jefferson County with a small eastern section in Adams County. A parent in Candelas and a parent near Olde Town can be a half-hour apart. That geography matters when a court orders supervised parenting time — most providers schedule from one fixed office, which forces the parent who lives farthest away to absorb the cost of every additional mile.

TruVisit Denver does it differently. Our supervisors meet families at mutually convenient public locations across all of Arvada, chosen with the child's comfort and the court order's safety conditions in mind. We don't charge mileage. We don't charge travel time.

Arvada areas we regularly serve

  • Olde Town Arvada — the historic downtown and G Line station area
  • Ralston Valley corridor
  • Lake Arbor & Pomona
  • West Woods & Westwoods Ranch
  • Candelas & Leyden Rock — far west Arvada
  • Berkley area border — southeast Arvada, near the Adams County line
  • The 64th Avenue corridor

Common Arvada meet-up locations

Locations are selected case-by-case based on the court order, the child's age, and what makes sense for the visit. Public, family-appropriate venues we use regularly:

  • Ralston Central Park (with its splash pad in summer)
  • Majestic View Park and Nature Center
  • Olde Town Arvada family restaurants and plazas
  • The Apex Center area (indoor options)
  • Jefferson County Public Library — Arvada branches
  • Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge trails (weather permitting)
  • Indoor play areas and recreation centers nearby

Colorado winters bring snow and sudden cold snaps. From November through March we lean toward indoor venues — libraries, indoor play areas, and Olde Town — so weather never compromises visit quality.

Jefferson County family courts

Most Arvada family law cases are heard in Colorado's First Judicial District (Jefferson and Gilpin counties) at the Jefferson Combined Court, 100 Jefferson County Parkway in Golden. Cases venued in the small Adams County portion of Arvada are heard at the Adams County Justice Center in Brighton (17th Judicial District). Our session reports are formatted in the objective, non-editorial, timestamped style these courts expect.

Supervised parenting time in Colorado is governed primarily by Title 14, Article 10 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, including the parenting time restriction standard at C.R.S. § 14-10-129. For the broader process, see our guide to the Colorado family court process.

If your court order is from the Jefferson County District Court Have a copy of the order ready when you call. The two things we most need to confirm during intake: the type of supervision ordered (full supervised parenting time vs. monitored exchange vs. therapeutic), and any specific location or duration requirements written in the order. We can typically schedule a first session within 48–72 hours of intake completion.
