Supervised visitation across Castle Rock

Castle Rock is the Douglas County seat and one of the fastest-growing towns on the Front Range — roughly 80,000 residents between Denver and Colorado Springs along the I-25 corridor. For families at the south end of the metro, driving to a provider's office in Denver adds an hour or more of round-trip travel to every visit. Most supervised visitation providers work exactly that way — one fixed office, with the travel burden pushed onto families.

TruVisit Denver does it differently. Our supervisors meet families at mutually convenient public locations in and around Castle Rock, chosen with the child's comfort and the court order's safety conditions in mind. We don't charge mileage. We don't charge travel time.

Castle Rock areas we regularly serve

  • Downtown Castle Rock — Wilcox Street and the historic core
  • The Meadows — northwest Castle Rock
  • Founders Village — east Castle Rock
  • Crystal Valley Ranch — south Castle Rock
  • Castlewood Ranch
  • Plum Creek & the golf course corridor
  • Castle Pines & Sedalia border areas

Common Castle Rock meet-up locations

Locations are selected case-by-case based on the court order, the child's age, and what makes sense for the visit. Public, family-appropriate venues we use regularly:

  • Philip S. Miller Park (including the indoor Miller Activity Complex)
  • Festival Park (downtown)
  • Douglas County Libraries — Castle Rock branch
  • Downtown Castle Rock family restaurants
  • The outlets area family venues
  • Indoor play areas and recreation facilities nearby

Colorado winters bring snow and sudden cold snaps. From November through March we lean toward indoor venues — the Miller Activity Complex, the library, and family restaurants — so weather never compromises visit quality.

Douglas County family courts

Castle Rock is home to the Douglas County Justice Center at 4000 Justice Way, where the Douglas County District Court hears family law cases. Douglas County anchors Colorado's 23rd Judicial District (Douglas, Elbert, and Lincoln counties) — the state's first new judicial district since 1965, effective January 2025. Our session reports are formatted in the objective, non-editorial, timestamped style this court expects.

Supervised parenting time in Colorado is governed primarily by Title 14, Article 10 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, including the parenting time restriction standard at C.R.S. § 14-10-129. For the broader process, see our guide to the Colorado family court process.

If your court order is from the Douglas County District Court Have a copy of the order ready when you call. The two things we most need to confirm during intake: the type of supervision ordered (full supervised parenting time vs. monitored exchange vs. therapeutic), and any specific location or duration requirements written in the order. We can typically schedule a first session within 48–72 hours of intake completion.
