Supervised visitation across Centennial
Centennial stretches more than ten miles east to west across southern Arapahoe County — from the Southglenn area near Littleton all the way out past Piney Creek toward E-470. Families on opposite ends of the city can be a 25-minute drive apart. That geography matters when a court orders supervised parenting time — most providers schedule from one fixed office, which forces the parent who lives farthest away to absorb the cost of every additional mile.
TruVisit Denver does it differently. Our supervisors meet families at mutually convenient public locations across all of Centennial, chosen with the child's comfort and the court order's safety conditions in mind. We don't charge mileage. We don't charge travel time.
Centennial areas we regularly serve
- Southglenn — west Centennial, around The Streets at SouthGlenn
- Willow Creek & Homestead
- Foxridge & Hunters Hill
- Walnut Hills & Cherry Knolls
- Piney Creek — east Centennial
- Centennial Airport / Dove Valley area
- Smoky Hill corridor — far east Centennial
Common Centennial meet-up locations
Locations are selected case-by-case based on the court order, the child's age, and what makes sense for the visit. Public, family-appropriate venues we use regularly:
- Centennial Center Park (with its popular playground)
- deKoevend Park (along the High Line Canal)
- The Streets at SouthGlenn (indoor and outdoor options)
- Koelbel Library (Arapahoe Libraries)
- Cherry Creek State Park family areas (just north of the city)
- Family-appropriate restaurants along Arapahoe Road and University Boulevard
- Indoor play areas and recreation centers nearby
Colorado winters bring snow and sudden cold snaps. From November through March we lean toward indoor venues — libraries, indoor play areas, and SouthGlenn — so weather never compromises visit quality.
Arapahoe County family courts
Centennial family law cases are heard by the Arapahoe County District Court — Colorado's 18th Judicial District — at the Arapahoe County Justice Center, 7325 South Potomac Street, right here in Centennial. Since January 2025 the 18th Judicial District covers Arapahoe County alone, following the creation of the new 23rd Judicial District for Douglas, Elbert, and Lincoln counties. Our session reports are formatted in the objective, non-editorial, timestamped style this court expects.
Supervised parenting time in Colorado is governed primarily by Title 14, Article 10 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, including the parenting time restriction standard at C.R.S. § 14-10-129. For the broader process, see our guide to the Colorado family court process.
