Supervised visitation across the City and County of Denver
Denver is both a city and its own county — more than 150 square miles stretching from Bear Valley in the southwest to Green Valley Ranch and Denver International Airport in the far northeast. The drive from Montbello to Washington Park can take 40+ minutes in traffic on I-70 and I-25. That geography matters when a court orders supervised parenting time — most providers schedule from one fixed office, which forces the parent who lives farthest away to absorb the cost of every additional mile.
TruVisit Denver does it differently. Our supervisors meet families at mutually convenient public locations across the entire City and County of Denver, chosen with the child's comfort and the court order's safety conditions in mind. We don't charge mileage. We don't charge travel time.

Common Denver meet-up locations
Locations are selected case-by-case based on the court order, the child's age, and what makes sense for the visit. Public, family-appropriate venues we use regularly:
- City Park (East Denver, near the Denver Zoo)
- Washington Park (South Denver)
- Cheesman Park (Capitol Hill)
- Sloan's Lake Park (West Denver)
- Central Park and its playgrounds (former Stapleton area)
- Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus (indoor option)
- Denver Zoo (seasonal option)
- Denver Public Library — Central and neighborhood branches
- Family-appropriate restaurants throughout Cherry Creek, the Highlands, and Washington Park
- Indoor play areas and recreation centers across the city
Denver winters bring snow and sudden cold snaps. From November through March we lean toward indoor venues — libraries, museums, and indoor play areas — for the child's comfort and to keep visit quality consistent regardless of the weather.
Denver County family courts
Family law cases for Denver residents are heard by the Denver District Court — Colorado's Second Judicial District — with civil and domestic relations matters handled at the Denver City and County Building at 1437 Bannock Street in downtown Denver. Our session reports are formatted in the objective, non-editorial, timestamped style these courts expect.
Supervised parenting time in Colorado is governed primarily by Title 14, Article 10 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, including the parenting time restriction standard at C.R.S. § 14-10-129. For the broader process, see our guide to the Colorado family court process.
