Supervised visitation across Parker

Parker has grown from a small crossroads town into one of Douglas County's largest communities — roughly 60,000 residents spread from the Stonegate and Meridian corridor on the north end down through Stroh Ranch toward Hess Road. Many Parker families also have court cases, schools, and schedules that pull them toward Centennial, Aurora, or Castle Rock. Most supervised visitation providers schedule from one fixed office and pass that travel burden on to families.

TruVisit Denver does it differently. Our supervisors meet families at mutually convenient public locations across the greater Parker area, chosen with the child's comfort and the court order's safety conditions in mind. We don't charge mileage. We don't charge travel time.

Parker areas we regularly serve

  • Downtown Parker / Mainstreet
  • Stonegate & Pinery Pointe — north Parker
  • Meridian & Compark area — near E-470
  • Canterberry Crossing & Villages of Parker
  • Stroh Ranch — south Parker
  • The Pinery — southeast of town
  • Hidden River & Clarke Farms

Common Parker meet-up locations

Locations are selected case-by-case based on the court order, the child's age, and what makes sense for the visit. Public, family-appropriate venues we use regularly:

  • O'Brien Park (downtown, with its popular playground)
  • Discovery Park (along Mainstreet)
  • Salisbury Park (south Parker)
  • Parker Library (Douglas County Libraries)
  • Mainstreet family restaurants
  • Indoor play areas and recreation facilities nearby

Colorado winters bring snow and sudden cold snaps. From November through March we lean toward indoor venues — the library, indoor play areas, and family restaurants — so weather never compromises visit quality.

Douglas County family courts

Parker family law cases are heard by the Douglas County District Court, part of Colorado's 23rd Judicial District (Douglas, Elbert, and Lincoln counties — the state's first new judicial district since 1965, effective January 2025). Cases are heard at the Douglas County Justice Center, 4000 Justice Way in Castle Rock. Our session reports are formatted in the objective, non-editorial, timestamped style this court expects.

Supervised parenting time in Colorado is governed primarily by Title 14, Article 10 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, including the parenting time restriction standard at C.R.S. § 14-10-129. For the broader process, see our guide to the Colorado family court process.

If your court order is from the Douglas County District Court Have a copy of the order ready when you call. The two things we most need to confirm during intake: the type of supervision ordered (full supervised parenting time vs. monitored exchange vs. therapeutic), and any specific location or duration requirements written in the order. We can typically schedule a first session within 48–72 hours of intake completion.
